RAYS was founded in 1973.

In 1981, the company began to develop and produce wheels and set up an automobile racing and sports department.

In 1986, RAYS installed the first 5,500-ton forging press machine and began to produce high-strength forging wheels.

During 1995-1999, RAYS installed 2 more 8000-ton forging press machine.

In 2005, RAYS introduced a 10,000-ton forging press machine, and was the first factory to use this forging press machine to manufacture wheels.

RAYS is also the world's top race wheel supplier. (Formula F1 race, WTCC world rv championship, Super GT Japan rv race, le mans 24-hour endurance race, etc.)

In the civil market, RAYS also has Volk Racing series sports wheels which were made specifically for fighting.


RAYS unique forging technology:

Spinning Forge. RAYS adopts double pressure forging, with ingot medal formed into a wheel blank prototype through pressure of a hydraulic press and then was moulded to a wheel shape by the way of  spinning. By applying the forging technology of RAYS, the possibility of making the thickness of wheels less then 3MM can be achieved.
